About Vizag Steel Plant: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant is a Navaratna PSE under the Ministry of Steel. Visakhapatnam Steel Plant is fondly called Vizag steel. It is the first shore-based Integrated Steel Plant in the country and is known for its quality products delighting the customers. It is a market leader in long products and it caters to the needs of diverse Industrial sectors. It is the first Steel plant to be certified by ISO 9001:2008 (presently2015), ISO 14001:2004 (presently2015), OHSAS 18001:2007, and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Standards. It is also the first PSE to be certified ISO 50001:2011 – Energy Management Systems and has acquired CMMI Level 3 Certification for s/w development.

Age Limit
Candidates’ age should be maximum of 35 years as of 01-10-2022. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates

Selection Procedure
Selection will be through an online/Off-line Written Test followed by Job Test/Skill Test (for OCM & Drill Technician posts only). Written Test will be held at Visakhapatnam and Job Test/Skill Test will be held at Visakhapatnam or any of the Captive Mines. However, RINL reserves the right to change the Selection procedure depending on the need. Candidates shall be appointed subject to their Medical Fitness
Documents to be carried at the time of the interview:
1. Aadhar Card
2. SSC Marksheet Certificate
3. Degree Certificate marks sheets (all semesters or consolidated mark sheet)
4. Provisional Certificate of qualifying Degree
5. Reservation certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, XSM, PWD/PH) if applicable.
Documents need to be submitted at the time of the interview:
1. One set of Photocopy/Xerox copies of all the above Certificates
2. Aadhar xerox proof.
3. Recent copies of Passport size photographs.
