DMHO Medak Recruitment 2022: District Medical & Health Officer, Medak (DMHO Medak) is inviting applications to fill the posts of Mid Level Health Providers (MLHP) on a contract basis. The notification was issued for 68 Posts of Mid Level Health providers. Candidates who completed BAMS, B.Sc in Nursing, and GNM are eligible to apply.
About Medak district: The district derived its name from Medak, the then headquarters town of taluk of the same name. Medak was originally known as Methukudurgam which subsequently changed into Methuku due to the growth of fine and coarse rice in this area. Medak district became part of the Kakatiya Kingdom to the Bahmani Kingdom and later the Golconda Kingdom. Finally, on the fall of the Qutubshahi dynasty, it was annexed to the Mughal Empire. During the formation of Hyderabad State by Asif Jahi, this district was detached and included in the Nizam’s Dominions. It finally became a part of Andhra Pradesh with effect from 1st November 1956 under the scheme of Re-organisation of States.
The early history of the Medak district is not very clear. Its political history, however, commences with the advent of the Mouryas who extended their sway to the south during the reign of Asoka.

Age Limit
Candidates, ages must be in between 18-44 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.
- SC/ ST/ BC: 5 years
- PH Candidates: 10 years
Educational Qualification
Medical Officer – MBBS:
Candidates must complete MBBS from a recognized University/ Institute.
Medical Officer – Ayurveda
Candidates must complete BAMS from a recognized University/ Institute.
B.Sc Nursing (Staff Nurse)
- Candidates must complete B.Sc in Nursing from a recognized Nursing Institute.
- Candidates who qualify on or after 2020 are eligible to apply.
B.Sc Nursing (Staff Nurse)
- Candidates must complete B.Sc in Nursing from a recognized Nursing Institute.
- Candidates who qualify on or after 2020 are eligible to apply.
GNM/ Staff Nurse
Candidates must complete GNM from a recognized Nursing Institute.
Pay Scale
Selected Candidates will receive payment according to the below-mentioned pay scale.
- MLHP (MBBS & BAMS Doctors): Rs. 40,000/- PM
- MLHP (Staff Nurse): Rs. 29,000/- PM
Selection Procedure
The candidates who satisfy the desirous eligibility criteria will be provisionally shortlisted for the selection process. The selection process for the posts will include
- Academic experience and
- Interview
Documents to be carried at the time of interview:
1. Aadhar Card
2. SSC Marksheet Certificate
3. Degree Certificate marks sheets (MBBS, BAMS Certificate)
4. Provisional Certificate of qualifying Degree.
5. Reservation certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, XSM, PWD/PH) if applicable.
Documents need to be submitted at the time of the interview:
1. One set of Photocopy/Xerox copies of all the above Certificates
2. Aadhar xerox proof.
3. Recent copies of Passport size photographs.
