About Telangana State Public Service Commission: Telangana State Public Service Commission is the youngest Public Service Commission in the country constituted vide GO Ms No.43, GA(Ser. A) Department, dt. 8.8.2014. Hyderabad State was one of the prominent princely States in India and inherits over 400 years of rich tradition and culture with unparalleled grace and historical significance. The system of selecting young talent for public services through a process of selection was in vogue in the Hyderabad State since the period of Mir Mahaboob Ali Pasha, VI Nizam (1869-1911).

Hyderabad Civil Service Committee was established by the 1919 Firman and the Hyderabad Public Service Commission was established by a Firman on 27 April 1947 emulating the model of the British Provincial Public Service Commission with a Chairman and Members not exceeding four in number. The establishment of the Commission was a significant landmark during the Asaf Jahi rule and brought the entire administrative machinery of civil services of the Nizam’s State in tune with the modern times and Hyderabad Civil Service was considered a coveted and elite service in those days.

TSPSC Language Pandit Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2022

Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has released the Syllabus for the posts of Language Pandit. TSPSC recruits candidates for Language Pandit based on their performance in the examination followed by an interview.

Language Pandit Hindi Syllabus:

Part-I: General Knowledge and Current Affairs

Information about India, Latest Science & Technology, Indian Constitution, History – India & World, Geography – India & World, Cultural Heritage, General Polity, Indian National Movement, Current Affairs – National and International and Economy.

Part-II: Perspectives in Education

1. Education: Meaning, Aims of Education, Functions of Education, Types of Education; Constitutional Provisions, important articles and their Educational implications for General and disabled population; Universalization of Elementary Education – Schemes and Programmes to achieve UEE like OBB, APPEP, DPEP, SSA, Open schools, Mid day-Meals; Recommendations of various committees and commissions during the pre-independent and post-independent period

2. Teacher Empowerment: Meaning, interventions for empowerment, Professional code of conduct for teachers, Teacher motivation, Professional development of Teachers and Teacher organizations, National / State Level Organizations for Teacher Education, Maintenance of Records and Registers in Schools.

3. Educational Concerns in Contemporary India: Inclusive Education: Conceptual Clarification and Definition, Prevalence, Myths & Facts, Characteristics, Classification & Types, Importance of Early Identification and Assessment, Planning Inclusive Education, Programming and Classroom Management in Inclusive Education, Evaluation, Documentation and Record Maintenance, Psycho-Social management, Awareness & Sensitization Strategies; Environmental Education: Concept, Objectives of Environmental Education, Environment and Natural Resources; Environmental Pollution – causes and effects and measures for the protection of the environment, Development of Environmental Values through Environmental Education. Literacy: Saakshar Bharat Mission, National Programme for Education of Girls at Elementary Level (NPEGEL) School Health Programme, Disaster Management, Population Education, Adolescence Education and Life Skills, Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization, Value Education
