UKPSC Forest Guard Recruitment 2022: Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) is inviting online applications for the posts of Forest Guard on direct recruitment basis. Candidates who possess Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant disciplines are only eligible to apply. Selected Candidates will receive pay according to pay level 3 in the pay matrix.

About Uttarakhand Public Service Commission: The State of Uttarakhand came into existence on 09 th November 2000 under the Reorganisation of Uttar Pradesh Act 2000. The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was Constituted under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India by the Governor of Uttarakhand vide Notification No. 247/1Karmik 2001 dated 14 th March 2001(Annexure1). The Commission came into existence on 15 May 2001. The sanctioned strength of the Commission is the Chairman & the Six Members(Annexure2).

The working of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission is regulated by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission Procedure and Conduct of Business Rule 2013{ Framed by the Lok sewa Ayog Uttarakhand under section 11 of U.P. State Lok sewa Ayog(Prakriya ka viniyaman) Adhiniyam, 1985 Uttarakhand Anukulan awam Upantaran Adesh, 2002.}

Age Limit

Candidates’ age should be in between 18-28 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates. Age is reckoned as of 01-07-2022.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must complete Intermediate or 10+2 from a recognized Institute/ board.
  • Knowledge of Hindi Language or Sanskrit language up to Matric Standard or Higher Education
  • ‘B’ or ‘C’ level certificate from DOEACC or NIELIT

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will get paid in the range of Rs. 21,700 – 69,100/- (Pay Level 3) by the recruiting organization.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will get selected for the post of Forest Guard based on their performance in the written test and interview. Merit students will be undergone a written test or interview depending on the number of applications received. Experience and academic qualifications will play a vital role in the selection of a particular candidate.

Selected candidates need to produce all the certificates at the time of the interview.
