About Tripura Housing and Construction Board (THCB): Tripura Housing and Construction Board (Erstwhile Tripura Housing Board) was formed in the year 1979 with a motto to undertake housing schemes around Agartala and other District capital of Tripura. At the earliest date, Tripura Housing and Construction Board had undertaken nos. of housing Schemes at Agartala and at Udaipur as well. To provide the people of the middle-income group, lower-income groups and economically weaker sections it has constructed housing schemes at Subhas Nagar, Nandan Nagar, Agartala, and Rajarbag, Udaipur. Besides this for the people having financial capability Tripura Housing and Construction Board has also successfully implemented another housing scheme at Krishnanagar, Agartala. With the same object, Tripura Housing and Construction Board lent house loans to a large nos. of government employees.

Age Limit
Candidates’ age should be in between 18-40 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates. Relaxation in age limit is applicable to reserved category candidates. Age is reckoned as on 10-10-2022
Educational Qualification
Junior Engineer (Degree Holder):
Candidates must complete BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
Junior Engineer (Diploma Holder):
Candidates must possess Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
Pay Scale
Selected Candidates will receive payment of about Rs. 10,230 – 34,800/- + G.P Rs. 4,800/- by the recruiting organization.
Selection Procedure
- Selection for the posts of Junior Engineer is based on their performance in the Written test and Interview
- A shortlist of candidates 5 times of vacancies of both categories will be prepared on the basis of the Good academic record of each candidate.
- For purpose of final selection, 80% weightage will be given on academic marks as mentioned above and 20% of the marks will be awarded for interview.

1. Aadhar Card
2. Educational qualification Certificate
3. Provisional Qualifying certificate
4. Reservation certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, XSM, PWD/PH) if applicable.
5. Residence Certificate
Documents need to be submitted at the time of the interview:
1. One set of Photocopy/Xerox copies of all the above Certificates
2. Aadhar xerox proof.
3. Recent copies of Passport size photographs.
Application Fee
General category candidates must pay the fee of Rs. 400/-, Rs. 350/- for reserved category candidates in the form of a D.D drawn in favor of Tripura Housing & Construction Board along with the application form.
