Goa University Recruitment 2022: Goa University is inviting online applications to fill the posts of Lower Division Clerk, Binder, Multi Tasking Staff on a temporary or contractual basis. Selected candidates will receive pay in pay levels 1, 2 by the recruiting organization. Desirable candidates must apply online mode.

About Goa University: Goa University was established under the Goa University Act of 1984 (Act No. 7 of 1984) and commenced operations on 1 June 1985. The university provides higher education in the Indian state of Goa. It is located on Taleigao Plateau overlooking Zuari estuary on a picturesque campus spread over 402 acres with state-of-the-art infrastructure such as faculty blocks, administrative building, library, sports facilities, student hostels, bank, post office, staff quarters, etc. Campus-Wide Internet connectivity with strong bandwidth is available for all 24 hours a day.

Age Limit

Candidates’ age should be maximum 45 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates as on 14-11-2022

Educational Qualification

Name of the Post Educational Qualification
Lower Division Clerk Candidates must complete Higher Secondary from a recognized Board/ Institute or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma

Knowledge of Computer applications/ operations with typing speed of 30 words per minute in English

Knowledge of Konkani.

15 years Residence/Domicile Certificate in Goa issued by the competent authority

Binder Candidates must complete Senior Secondary from a recognized Institute with Successfully Complete the course conducted by a recognized Industrial Training Institute or equivalent, in any trade

Candidates should have Two years of experience as a Binder

Multi Tasking Staff Candidates must complete Senior Secondary from a recognized Institute with Successfully Complete the course conducted by a recognized Industrial Training Institute or equivalent, in any trade

Candidates should have experience and 15 years of residence certificate


Pay Scale

Selected Candidates will receive payment according to the mentioned amounts by the recruiting organization

Selection Procedure

There will be no oral interviews. The selection of the candidates will be based on the written test and such other test in terms of the Office Memorandum issued by the Personnel Department, Government of Goa.
Candidates called for answering the written test will have to present themselves at the given venue by the University at their own expenses. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for this purpose.
The University reserves the right not to fill up the posts advertised

Documents to be carried at the time of interview:

1. Aadhar Card
2. SSC Marksheet Certificate
3. ITI Certificate marks sheets (all semesters or consolidated mark sheet)
4. Provisional Certificate of Educational Qualifications
5. Reservation certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, XSM, PWD/PH) if applicable.

Documents need to be submitted at the time of the interview:

1. One set of Photocopy/Xerox copies of all the above Certificates
2. Aadhar xerox proof.
3. Recent copies of Passport size photographs.

Application Fee

All the candidates must pay non refundable fee of Rs. 200/- through online mode.
