Sports Authority of India Recruitment 2022: Sports Authority of India is inviting applications to fill the posts of Young Professional (General Management, P&A, ARM) on a contract basis for a period of two years. It is extendable for more than 1 year at Regional Centre, Kolkata. Candidates who completed degrees with MBA are eligible to apply.
About Sports Authority of India: Sports Authority of India (SAI) was set up in 1984 to carry forward the legacy of the IXth Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982 under the Department of Sports. SAI has been entrusted with the twin objectives of promoting sports and achieving sporting excellence at the national and international levels. SAI was set up as a Society registered of Societies Act, 1860 in pursuance of Resolution No. 1-1/83/SAI dated 25th January 1984 of the Department of Sports, Govt. of India with the objective of promotion of Sports and Games as detailed in the Resolution.

Age Limit
Candidates’ age must be maximum of 37 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualification
Young Professional (General Management): Candidates must complete Post Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the concerned area
Young Professional (P&A): Candidates must possess a B.Tech/ MBA/ PGDM from a recognized Institute with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the concerned area
Young Professional (ARM): Candidates must possess a B.Tech/ MBA/ PGDM from a recognized Institute with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the concerned area
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will get paid an average of Rs. 40,000 – 60,000/- PM by the recruiting organization.
Selection Procedure
Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e.,
(i) Academic performance and (ii) Interview
The final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the Academic examination and the oral test took together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. Applicants who are having more than 75% will be given 40 marks, Candidates with 60-75% of marks will be given 30 marks, and Candidates with 35-60% of marks will be given 20 marks. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
Candidates with the necessary sports qualifications will be given more priority.
