Power Grid Recruitment 2022: Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) is inviting online applications to fill the posts of Engineer Trainees from Bright, Committed and Energetic engineering graduates in the disciplines of Computer Science, Civil, Electrical and Electronics. Candidates who have appeared in the GATE 2023 examination are only eligible to apply.

Age Limit:
Candidates’ age should be maximum of 28 years as of 31-12-2022. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.

Pay Scale
Selected Candidates will receive pay of about Rs.40,000/- -3%- 1,40,000 (IDA) by the recruiting organization.
Selection Procedure
- The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2023, Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
- Eligible candidates will have to appear for the corresponding paper of GATE 2023, i.e.
Electrical Engineering (EE) / Electronics and Communication (EC) / Civil Engineering (CE)/ Computer Science Engineering (CS). - Candidates qualified in the corresponding paper of GATE 2023 shall only be eligible to be considered for the next stage of selection. Qualifying marks in GATE 2023 shall be as decided by the GATE 2023 conducting authority.
- Qualified candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2023, in the corresponding paper.
- Candidates shall have the option of appearing in the GD/Interview in Hindi or English.
- General category candidates must secure 40% of marks to qualify for an interview, 30% is enough for reserved category candidates.

- Aadhar Card: Format: PDF, Size: Less than 1MB.
- Qualifying 10th Class, BE/ B.Tech, GATE 2023 score card Certificates
- Passport size photograph: JPEG, Size: Less than 200KB (“3.5* 4.5”).

- Valid personal Email ID.
- Mobile number (will be required to send/verify OTP).
Documents need to be submitted at the time of the interview:
1. One set of Photocopy/Xerox copies of all the above Certificates
2. Apprentice registration copy from Apprenticeship portal, www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
3. Recent copies of Passport size photographs.
