MPSC Forest Statistician Recruitment 2022: Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is inviting online applications for the posts of Forest Statistician under the Maharashtra State Social Services, Government of Maharashtra undertaking. Candidates who possess Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree in the respective discipline are only eligible to apply.

Age Limit
Candidates’ age should be in between 19-38 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates. Age is reckoned as of 01-03-2023.
- Reserved Category candidates: 43 years (Maximum Age limit)
- PWD Candidates: 45 years (Maximum age limit)
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree or Higher degree from any statutory University in Statistics or with Statistics as a special subject;
OR
A Bachelor’s degree from any statutory University, at least in the Second Class, and a Post-graduates Degree or Diploma from any statutory University or of any recognized Institution, with Statistics as a special subject;
OR
A Honors degree in Statistics from any statutory foreign University or a B.Sc. (Economics) degree of the London University with Statistics as a special subject;
OR
A Master’s degree in Mathematics with a Post Graduate degree or Diploma in Statistics from any statutory University or of any recognized Institution such as the I.A.R.S. New Delhi or I.S.I. Calcutta;
OR
A Master’s degree in Mathematics with a Post-graduate degree or Diploma of any statutory University or any recognized Institution with Statistics as a special Subject
Candidates must have experience in Statistical work for not less than five years
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will get paid in the range of Rs. 41,100 – 1,32,300/- (Pay Level 15) by the recruiting organization.
Selection Procedure
- Candidates will get selected for the post of Forest Statistician based on their performance in the written test and interview. Merit students will be undergone a written test or interview depending on the number of applications received. Experience and academic qualifications will play a vital role in the selection of a particular candidate.
- Admission tickets will be issued to the candidates who are having better performance in academics followed by their experience.
- Selected candidates need to produce all the certificates at the time of the interview.
