DRDO NPOL Recruitment 2022: Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) – NPOL is inviting applications to fill the posts of Research Associate in the Ocean Science discipline. The Research Associate Post is to be filled under its defense wing on temporary basis. Candidates who completed M.Tech, Ph.D in the concerned disciplines are only eligible to apply.

Naval Physical & Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) is engaged in the development of Sound Navigation And Ranging (SONAR) and allied technologies. The thrust areas of R&D of the NPOL are signal processing, electronics, engineering systems, transducers, materials, and oceanography.

Age Limit
Candidates’ age should be maximum of 35 years as of 21-10-2022. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Ph. D in Ocean Sciences or relevant allied subjects preferably with experience in the field of Physical Oceanography
OR
having 3 years of research or teaching experience after M. Tech (Ocean Technology / Ocean Engineering) with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal in the field of Physical Oceanography
Note:
Candidates should be willing to take part in long cruises onboard oceangoing ships for the collection and analysis of oceanographic data, if selected
Pay Scale
Selected Candidates will receive a stipend of about Rs. 54,000/- + HRA from the recruiting organization.
Selection Procedure
The candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be provisionally shortlisted for the selection process. The eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written test or an interview depending on the number of applications received. The detailed Selection procedure will be announced to the shortlisted candidates in due course.

4. Provisional Certificate of qualifying Doctorate, Publishing of Research papers information

1. One set of Photocopy/Xerox copies of all the above Certificates
2. Aadhar xerox proof.
3. Recent copies of Passport size photographs.
