About Currency Note Press, Nashik: Currency Note Press, Nashik (‘CNP Nashik’) prints high-quality banknotes for the Government of India. While initially established in 1928, the production facility became a unit of Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) during corporatization in 2006. Located at Nashik road, the campus is spread over an area of 14 acres and is equipped with state of an art IP surveillance System. The press also has a residential complex with well-supported infrastructure.

Selection Procedure
Selection for the post will be done through an examination that will be conducted “Online”. The online test will be of the objective type and comprise the following questions
- Professional Knowledge in the respective trade
- General Awareness
- English Language
- Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative Aptitude
The test will be in bilingual form i.e. Hindi & English language except for the English language section which will
be available only in English. General category candidates must secure a minimum of 55% of marks, 50% of marks in the OBC Category, and 45% of marks in the SC/ST Category.
Documents to be carried at the time of the interview:
1. Aadhar Card
2. SSC Marksheet Certificate
3. ITI Certificate marks sheets (all semesters or consolidated mark sheet)
4. Provisional Certificate of qualifying examination
5. Reservation certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, XSM, PWD/PH) if applicable.
Documents need to be submitted at the time of the interview:
1. One set of Photocopy/Xerox copies of all the above Certificates
2. Aadhar xerox proof.
3. Recent copies of Passport size photographs.
