Age Limit
The candidate’s age is 18 years to 42 years. Age is relaxable as per Bihar District /Civil Court Various Post 2022 Recruitment Rules.
Education Qualification
Clerk:
Candidates must complete Graduation i.e. B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com from a recognized University/ Institute.
Stenographer:
- Candidates must complete Graduation i.e. B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com from a recognized University/ Institute.
- Candidates should have minimum stenography knowledge in English/ Hindi language
- Candidates minimum speed in stenography shall be at the rate of 80 words per minute in English and 60 words per minute in Hindi with typing speed at the rate of 45 words per minute in English and 35 words per minute in Hindi on Computer
- Candidates should have proficiency in Computers.
Court Reader Cum Deposition Writer:
- Candidates must complete Graduation i.e. B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com from a recognized University/ Institute.
- Candidates should have typing speed both in Hindi and English language
- Candidates typing speed should be 30 w.p.m in Hindi language and 40 w.p.m in the English Language
- Candidates should be proficient in Computers
- A certificate in Hindi Typing/ English Typing issued by the Central/ State Government is mandatory to apply for this post.
- Preference will be given to the candidates who are having proficiency in typing speed.
Peon/ Orderly:
Candidates must complete Matriculation from a recognized Board/ Institute.
Application Fee
General, BC, EWS, EBC Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 800/-, and Rs. 400/- for reserved category candidates. The fee must be payable through online mode.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will get selected for the posts of Clerk, Stenographer, Court Reader, and Poen based on a Written Test, Typing test, and Interview. written test or interview depending on the number of applications received.
After completion of the written test candidates should attend a typing test on the scheduled date given by the Bihar District /Civil Court. Qualified candidates in the typing test are only eligible to appear for the Document verification process.
- The selection of candidates for the posts of Clerk, Stenographer, Court Reader, and Peon is completely based on their performance in the Preliminary Examination, a Written examination followed by an interview.
- Candidates need to secure a minimum 40% of marks for qualifying for an interview.
- Qualified candidates in the written test need to secure at least 50% of the marks in the skill test.
- Candidates who secured the highest marks in the Preliminary Examination, and Written test are only eligible to appear for an interview.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive the pay mentioned below
- Clerk: Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/- PM
- Stenographer: Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/- PM
- Court Reader: Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/- PM
- Peon: Rs. 18,000 – 56,900/- PM
