The notification was issued to fill the posts in different disciplines like Civil, Mechanical, IT, Electrical, Chemical & Metallurgy Engineering, Finance and HR Professionals to contribute towards Nation building in the fields of Power, Industry, Transmission, Renewable Energy, Transportation, Energy Storage, Defence & Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Water. Candidates who completed their BE/ B.Tech in the concerned disciplines are only eligible to apply.

Age Limit
Candidates’ age should be maximum of 29 years as of 01-09-2022. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates. Relaxation is provided to candidates as follows.
- OBC (NCL) Candidates: 3 Years
- SC, ST Candidates: 5 Years
- PWD (General) Candidates: 10 Years
- PWD (OBC) Candidates: 13 Years

Candidates who are in the final year/semester of the qualifying degree shall also be eligible. However, if shortlisted, such candidates shall be required to submit the documentary proof of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of Interviews or by 2nd November 2022, whichever is earlier.
Pay Scale
Candidates joining BHEL as Engineer/Executive Trainees will undergo training for one year. During
the training period, basic pay of Rs 50,000/- in the scale of pay of Rs 50,000-1,60,000/- will be paid.
After successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed as Engineers/Executives in the
scale of pay of Rs 60,000-1,80,000/- with basic pay of Rs 60,000/-.
Selection Procedure
- Candidates interested in joining BHEL as Engineer/Executive Trainee will have to appear for a Computer Based Examination. Based on the Examination Marks and requirements, candidates will be shortlisted for Interviews in order of merit in the ratio of 1:5 to the number of vacancies in each discipline and Category
- All the candidates obtaining the same cut-off marks in respective groups shall also be called for interviews.
- The final merit list shall be prepared on the basis of 75% weightage to Computer Based Examination Score & 25% weightage to Interview Score
Documents to be carried at the time of interview:
1. Aadhar Card
2. SSC Marksheet Certificate
3. Degree Certificate marks sheets (all semesters or consolidated mark sheet)
4. Provisional Certificate of qualifying Graduation in Engineering.
5. Reservation certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, XSM, PWD/PH) if applicable.
Documents need to be submitted at the time of the interview:
1. One set of Photocopy/Xerox copies of all the above Certificates
2. Aadhar Photocopy/xerox proof.
3. Recent Photocopy of Passport size photographs.
