About Kalyana Karnataka Transport Corporation: To increase operational efficiency, to provide quality transport service to the travelling public and to have effective supervision of the operations of the Corporation, the State Government divided KSRTC and carved out two new Corporations, viz., the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) on 15-08-1997 with its corporate office at Bangalore and the North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation with effect from 01-11-1997, with its corporate office at Hubli.
Afterward, One more Corporation called the North Eastern Karnataka Road Transport Corporation was also established to provide adequate, efficient, reliable, and economically viable transport facility to the travelling public of the north eastern region of Karnataka State with effect from 15-08-2000 at Kalaburgi to cater to the north eastern districts of Karnataka, which became financially independent w.e.f. 01-10-2000.
Introduction: Kalyana Karnataka Transport Corporation (KKRTC) is inviting online applications for the posts of Technical Assistant, Craftsman, and Accountant under its establishment. Candidates who completed SSC, PUC, and B.Com in the relevant disciplines are only eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure
Candidates will get selected for the posts of Craftsman, Technical Assistant, and Traffic Inspector based on their performance in the screening test followed by a personality test. A merit list will be prepared for shortlisting candidates for written tests. After shortlisting candidates, they will undergo a written test or interview depending on the no. of applications received.
Qualified candidates in the written test must attend a personality test on the prescribed date given by the commission.

- All the candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 300/-. Fee need to be payable through online mode, i.e. through Net Banking, Credit or Debit Card, etc.
