Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council-recognized Institute or University

Candidates must possess B.Sc. (Post-certificate) / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council recognized Institute / University and they must be registered as Nurses and Midwife in State/Indian Nursing council.

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council recognized Institute / Board or Council.
Registered as a Nurse and Midwife in State/Indian Nursing council.
Two Years‟ of experience in a minimum 50 – bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will get paid an average of Rs. 44,900/- (Pay Level 7) by the recruiting organization
Selection Procedure
- Soon after the receipt of the application forms, JIPMER will shortlist the candidates to appear for the written examination.
- The written test consists of 100 questions. Each question carries 4 marks.
- The written test consists of Related subject concerned – 70%, General areas like General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General English, and General Mathematics – 30 %
- The duration of the examination is 90 minutes
- The skill assessment test for posts mentioned below is of qualifying in nature
- The skill assessment test for the above post is qualifying nature. 04 to 08 stations will be created to evaluate the skill-based performance of the candidate on various procedures/instruments.
- General candidates need to secure minimum 50 marks to qualify in written test

General/ OBC Category candidates must pay an application fee of about Rs. 1500/-, Rs. 1200/- for PWD Category candidates. Fee must be payable through online mode.
