ISRO Recruitment 2022: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is inviting online applications from eligible Indian Nationals to fill the post of Scientist/ Engineer in different disciplines from eligible Indian Nationals. About Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO): Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of India. The organization is involved in science, engineering, and technology to harvest the benefits of outer space for India and mankind. ISRO is a major constituent of the Department of Space (DOS), Government of India. The department executes the Indian Space Program primarily through various Centres or units within ISRO.
ISRO was previously the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR), set up by the Government of India in 1962, as envisioned by Dr. VikramA Sarabhai. ISRO was formed on August 15, 1969, and superseded INCOSPAR with an expanded role to harness space technology. DOS was set up and ISRO was brought under DOS in 1972.

Age Limit
Candidates’ age should be maximum of 28 years as of 19-12-2022. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates. The maximum age limit is prescribed below.

Pay Scale
Selected Candidates will receive payment of about Rs. 56,100/- PM by the recruiting organization
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be Screened-in for an Interview on the basis of valid GATE – 2021 or GATE – 2022 Scores. The GATE paper and the subject of qualifying degree of the candidates must be as per the discipline as mentioned above in the table. Candidates are advised to be careful while filling their GATE Score(not GATE marks or GATE Rank), as the shortlisting will be based on the Scorefilled in the Application Form
Documents to be carried at the time of the interview:
1. Aadhar Card
2. SSC Marksheet Certificate
3. Provisional Qualifying certificate of Graduation Degree
4. Reservation certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, XSM, PWD/PH) if applicable.
5. Residence Certificate
Documents need to be submitted at the time of the interview:
1. One set of Photocopy/Xerox copies of all the above Certificates
2. Aadhar xerox proof.
3. Recent copies of Passport size photographs.
Application Fee
General category candidates must pay an application fee of about Rs. 250/-. Fee is exempted for reserved category candidates. Fee must be payable through online mode.
