Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2022: Applications are invited till 4 pm on 1st October 2022, in the prescribed format for filling up of the following vacant posts under the jurisdiction & Sessions Division, Pasighat, East Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh under Gauhati High Court, Itanagar, and Permanent Bench Naharlagun in the respective pay matrix shown below from eligible APST candidate. Reservation is made as per the policy of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

About Gauhati High Court: The Gauhati High Court was promulgated by the governor-general of India on 1st March 1948 after the Government of India Act 1935 was passed. It was originally known as a high court of Assam and Nagaland but was renamed as Gauhati High Court in 1971. After Indian independence, the Assam Legislative Assembly adopted a resolution on 9 September 1947 that a High Court is established for the Province of Assam.

 The Assam High Court initially had its sittings at Shillong but shifted to Gauhati on 14 August 1948.AfterManipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura got their high court, the Gauhati high court ceased its jurisdiction in these three states.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

For Stenographer Grade-II:

  • The candidate must be the holder of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent thereto from a recognized college/university.
  • He/She must be the holder of a Diploma /Certificate from ITI/Polytechnic/or any other institute in stenography.

  For Driver:

Candidate must have a valid driving license issued from the component authority and shall have experience in major/minor repairing of vehicles and should have passed in 8th class.

  • Candidates have to appear in a skill test of 50 Marks. After qualifying for the skill tests candidates will be called for a viva test of 25 Marks. Candidates who have got the highest marks on both tests will be selected by the commission.

For Process Server:

 Candidates should have passed in 8th class from a recognized school.

Application Fee

  • For APST/SC/ST/PwD Applicants: Rs.200/-
  • Other Applicants: Rs.300/-
  • The fee must be payable through online mode.

How to Apply?

  • Candidates have to fill out the application form by visiting the website careers page ghcitanagar.gov.in.
  • Need to upload the scanned recent passport size photo
  • The candidate must upload the signature.
  • Candidates who are in government service have to Provide a No Objection Certificate.
  • The list of candidates and allotted numbers will be published on the Notice board of the center and the official website.

Important Notes

  • Candidates will have to appear for a written test and have to produce TA/DA for that purpose.
  • Posting and transfer of the finally selected candidates shall be as decided by the selection committee.
