DMHO Nizamabad Recruitment 2022: District Medical & Health Officer, Nizamabad (DMHO Nizamabad) is inviting applications to fill the posts of Mid Level Health Providers (MLHP) on a contract basis. The notification was issued for 94 Posts of Mid Level Health providers. Candidates who completed BAMS, B.Sc in Nursing, and GNM are eligible to apply.
About Nizamabad District: Nizamabad – A popular princely district in Telangana situated at a distance of about 175 km from North-west of Hyderabad. The District derived its name as Nizamabad (Nizam-a-Abadi) from the Nizam of Hyderabad Asaf Jahi, VI who had ruled Deccan during the 18th Century A.D. Originally the district called was INDUR known to have originated in the name of king Indradatta who had ruled this region during 5th Century A.D. During the Prime Ministership of Sir Salar Jung-I in the 1876 A.D, the district is in the Nizam’s Dominion were re-organized where upon INDUR became a District.
The District derived its name as Nizamabad (Nizam-a-Abadi) from the Nizam of Hyderabad Asaf Jahi, VI who had ruled Deccan during the 18th century A.D. Originally the District was called Indur known to have originated in the name of king Indradatta who had ruled this region during the 5th century A.D.Some of the major ancient dynasties which extended their rule to the district are Mauryas, Satavahanas, Rastrakutas, Chalukyas, and Kakatiyas and in the medieval Bahamani Sultans, Qutub Shahis and Barid Shahis, and in the modern period Mughals and Asaf Jahi’s.

Age Limit
Candidates, ages must be in between 18-44 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification
Medical Officer – MBBS:
Candidates must complete MBBS from a recognized University/ Institute.
Medical Officer – Ayurveda
Candidates must complete BAMS from a recognized University/ Institute.
B.Sc Nursing (Staff Nurse)
- Candidates must complete B.Sc in Nursing from a recognized Nursing Institute.
- Candidates who qualify on or after 2020 are eligible to apply.
B.Sc Nursing (Staff Nurse)
- Candidates must complete B.Sc in Nursing from a recognized Nursing Institute.
- Candidates who qualify on or after 2020 are eligible to apply.
GNM/ Staff Nurse
Candidates must complete GNM from a recognized Nursing Institute.
Pay Scale
Selected Candidates will receive payment according to the below-mentioned pay scale.
- MLHP (MBBS & BAMS Doctors): Rs. 40,000/- PM
- MLHP (Staff Nurse): Rs. 29,000/- PM
Selection Procedure
The candidates who satisfy the desirous eligibility criteria will be provisionally shortlisted for the selection process. The selection process for the posts will include

2. SSC Marksheet Certificate
3. Degree Certificate marks sheets (MBBS, BAMS Certificate)
4. Provisional Certificate of qualifying Degree.
5. Reservation certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, XSM, PWD/PH) if applicable.
Documents need to be submitted at the time of the interview:
1. One set of Photocopy/Xerox copies of all the above Certificates
2. Aadhar xerox proof.
3. Recent copies of Passport size photographs.
