About Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF): The Central Reserve Police Force came into existence as Crown Representative’s Police on 27th July 1939. It became the Central Reserve Police Force on the enactment of the CRPF Act on 28th December 1949. It has completed 83 years of glorious history. The Force has grown into a big organization with 246 Bns, (including 208 executive Bns, 6 Mahila Bns, 15 RAF Bns, 10 CoBRA Bns, 5 Signal Bns and 1 Special Duty Group, 1 Parliament Duty Group), 43 Group Centres, 20 Training Institutions, 3 CWS, 7 AWS, 2 SWS,1 MWS, 4 Composite Hospitals of 100 bedded and 17 Composite Hospitals of 50 bedded.

Age Limit
- Candidates whose age is between 18 to 23 years as of the closing date for receipt of the Online Application form (i.e. 30 days from the date of publication)
- Age is relaxable by 5 years for General category candidates
- Age is relaxable by 8 years for OBC Category candidates
- Age is relaxable by 10 years for SC/ST Category candidates
- Children and dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat: 10 years
Educational Qualification
Candidates must complete 10+2 from a recognized board/ Institute.
Candidates who don’t possess the essential educational qualification as of 31/12/2021 shall not be eligible and need not apply
Sports Qualification: Sportsperson of merit who must have won any medal in an individual event in National Games/National Championships (Both Junior & Senior) or any recognized sports meet of national repute conducted under the aegis of the respective Federation/ Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive pay of about Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/- PM by the recruiting organization.
Selection Criteria
Candidates, whose candidature/applications have been provisionally accepted/found in order, will be issued admit card/call letter to appear in the recruitment process i.e. checking/verification of documents, Physical Standard, and Trial as per details mentioned below:-
a) Sports performance/achievement/trial test as prescribed for recruitment of sportspersons.
b) The standard of candidates in their respective sports/events will be ascertained on the basis of merit drawn after taking into consideration of last 03 years’ achievements, Only those candidates whose documents are found in order, to qualify for PST/Trial will be shortlisted for Detailed Medical examination.
Application Fee
- Candidates Should pay an application fee of Rs. 100/-
- For SC/ST/OBC candidates need not pay any application fee.
- Fees can be paid through online net banking, credit cards, and debit cards. The fee paid by modes other than as stated mode will not be accepted.
- The fee once paid will not be refundable.

- The posts are purely temporary in nature but likely to become permanent.
- Candidates must upload all the documents regarding scanned photographs, Signatures, voter IDs, Aadhar cards, etc.

- When the application is successfully submitted it will be accepted provisionally.
- Candidates should take a printout of the application and download it for future reference.
- Candidates must carry two passport-size photos.
