Candidates who completed their Degree, BE/ B.Tech are only eligible to apply.
About Central Power Research Institute (CPRI): Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) was established by the Government of India in 1960 with headquarters in Bangalore. The Institute was reorganized into an autonomous Society in the year 1978 under the aegis of the Ministry of Power, Government of India. The main objective of setting up the Institute is to serve as a national Level laboratory for undertaking applied research in electrical power engineering besides functioning as an independent national testing and certification authority for electrical equipment and components to ensure reliability in power systems and to innovate and develop new products.

Educational Qualification

Selection Procedure
Selection for the posts of Engineering Officer, Technician, and Assistant will be selected based on the below-mentioned stages
- Written Exam
- Interview
Shortlisted candidates will receive admit card one week prior to the examination
Candidates must carry an admit card along with recent passport-size photograph for attending the examination.
Documents to be carried at the time of the interview:
1. Aadhar Card
2. SSC Marksheet Certificate
3. Degree Certificate marks sheets (all semesters or consolidated mark sheet)
4. Provisional Certificate of qualifying Degree
5. Reservation certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, XSM, PWD/PH) if applicable.
Documents need to be submitted at the time of the interview:
1. One set of Photocopy/Xerox copies of all the above Certificates
2. Aadhar xerox proof.
3. Recent copies of Passport size photographs.
