CGPSC Recruitment 2022: Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) is inviting online applications for the posts under the State Service Examination (SSE), Government of Chhattisgarh undertaking. Candidates who possess Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant disciplines are only eligible to apply.

About Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC): Under the re-organization of Madhya Pradesh, the State of Chattisgarh came into existence on 1st November 2000, and Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission was formed under the provision of Act 315 of the Constitution of India on 23rd May 2001.

The commission is to perform the following functions

• To conduct examinations for the appointments in the state

• To advise the state government on the following:

  • On all matters related to the state civil service.
  • On matters related to the eligibility, transfer, and promotion of civil servants.
  • On matters related to monetary benefits and compensation to the civil servant by the state government.

Age Limit

Candidates’ age is in between 21-28 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates. Age is reckoned as on 01-01-2022

• OBC Category: 3 years
• SC/ST Category: 5 years
• PWD: 10 years

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute.
• Knowledge of Devnagari Script

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will get paid in the range of about Pay Level 10 (25,300 – 56,100/-) PM by the recruiting organization.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will get selected for the posts under State Service Examination is completely based on their performance in the written test and interview. Merit students will be undergone a written test or interview depending on the number of applications received. Experience and academic qualifications will play a vital role in the selection of a particular candidate.

Selected candidates need to produce all the certificates at the time of the interview.

For other category candidates of Chhattisgarh, candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 400/-, Rs. 500/- towards paid correction fee. No need to pay any kind of fee for the local residents of Chhattisgarh.
