AIIMS Rajkot Senior Residents Recruitment 2022: All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rajkot (AIIMS Rajkot) has issued a recruitment notification to fill the posts of Senior Residents. Desirous candidates must attend the walk-in interview at AIIMS Rajkot on a temporary basis. Selected candidates will attend the walk-in interview on the desirable date.
About All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rajkot: All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rajkot in Gujarat is one amongst the several new AIIMS, being established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. AIIMS, Rajkot has objectives to reduce the “gaps” in affordable tertiary health care, and to generate ‘wellness’ amongst the general population. AIIMS, Rajkot is under phase six of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). AIIMS Rajkot shall be a 750 bedded hospital with multiple specialties as well as super specialty departments. The Project cost of construction is about Rs. 1195 Crores, which includes an allocation of Rs. 185 Crores towards state-of-the-art medical equipment. The Government of Gujarat has allotted about 201 Acres of Land for the project and shall take care of access roads, water facilities, and provision of electricity connection.

Age Limit
Candidates’ age limits maximum of 45 years. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates. Age is reckoned as of 20-11-2022.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must complete MBBS from a University recognized by the State Medical Council/ Medical Council of India
- Candidates must complete a post-graduate Medical Degree/Diploma in their respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
- Valid State Registration or MCI registration is necessary.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will get paid an average of Rs. 67,700/- + NPA by the recruiting organization
Selection Procedure
- The screening Committee would be screening the documents submitted by the candidates before the interview and the eligible candidates as declared by the Screening Committee would be allowed to appear for the Interview.
- The written examination will only be conducted when the number of applicants is more than three times the number of posts advertised. However, there will be no written test for the post against which less number of applications are received than the vacancies.
- The merit list (selected and waiting list) for all categories i.e. UR/EWS/OBC/SC/ST shall be prepared on the basis of combined marks of written tests and personal interviews or only personal Interviews.
- Selected Candidates will be expected to stay in Institute Campus if offered residential accommodation.

General category candidates must pay a fee of Rs. 1000/-, Rs. 800/- for reserved category candidates. Fee is exempted for reserved category candidates.
