About Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL): GAIL (India) Limited is India’s leading natural gas company with diversified interests across the natural gas value chain of trading, transmission, LPG production & transmission, LNG re-gasification, petrochemicals, city gas, E&P, etc. It owns and operates a network of around 14,488 km of natural gas pipelines spread across the length and breadth of the country. It is also working concurrently on the execution of multiple pipeline projects to further enhance the spread. Age Limit:
Candidates’ age must be maximum of 28 years as of 16-03-2023. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualification
Executive Trainee (Chemical): Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Chemical/Petrochemical/ Chemical Technology / Petrochemical Technology/ Chemical Technology & Polymer Science/ Chemical Technology & Plastic Technology with a minimum of 65% marks.
Executive Trainee (Civil): Candidates must possess BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
Executive Trainee (GAILTEL): Candidates must possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology in Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Electronics & Telecommunication / Telecommunication / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical & Telecommunication Engineering with minimum 65% marks.
Executive Trainee (BIS): Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Computer Science / Information Technology or MCA with a minimum of 65% marks.
Important points to be noted: Candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (including 05 years BE/ B.Tech + ME/ M.Tech integrated dual degree in Engineering) in the year 2022 / candidates who are currently in the final year (2022-2023) of their Engineering Degree course (including 05 years BE/B.Tech + ME/ M Tech integrated dual degree in Engineering course) only are eligible to apply for the post of Executive Trainee.
Selection Procedure
- Candidates who got qualified in the GATE 2023 are only eligible to apply for the Executive Trainee.
- Based on the GATE 2023 marks, candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. Only GATE 2023 marks and score is valid for the examination. GATE 2021 and 2022 are not eligible to apply for the Executive Trainees.
